Why I choose to become a photographer. I choose to become a photographer, because ever since I was in elementary school I was always trying to capture.picfures. I found that it was becoming a hobby.  I loved the feeling of having a camera in my hands. It felt so good being able to capture all the small and big moments and memories.  I have been into photography for 10 years, but professionally it's been since 2018. These past years I have changed my business name, I dropped the event planning portion from my name. As I knew my true passion was photography.  I have always loved being behind a camera and capturing memories and moments for people. I have always dreamt that one day I would run my own business. I'm thrilled that my dream has came true. I know that I will one day be able to teach the three kids how to take photos. It's crazy to realize that in October will be my 4th year of this wild ride. I can't thank my husband and parents and family for believing in me an

How to Change Your Name after your wedding

How to Change Your Name in Saskatchewan Due to Marriage  Congratulations on your union! If you are changing your name due to marriage, these are the steps to take.  Note that if you have booked your honeymoon in your former surname, wait until you return to change your passport. Travel with your current passport, carry your marriage certificate with you.  These all can be changed with the marriage certificate provided by your Justice of Peace. 1) Three weeks after your wedding day, you can order a government issued marriage certificate. Go online to https://vitalstats.ehealthsask.ca. You will need your marriage registration number (this is indicated on the marriage certificate provided to you by your Officiant). There is a fee for this depending on the size you order. The certificate should arrive in the mail after a couple of weeks.  2) Go to SGI and purchase a NEW ID. Cake shots πŸ“·

Cake shots are so important, I believe that cake photos are so important as well. So you can remember what you had and used on your wedding day.  I know that mine was super important to me, so I made sure to document it. My cake topper is 60 years old. It was used at my mom's parents wedding and then my parents wedding, then it was used at mine. Next it will be passed down to my brother so he can have for when he gets married.  I try and capture the cakes details so that you will be able to look back, and go that what we had for our wedding day 10 years down the road, then you can recreate it for your 10 year anniversary. There's just so many beautiful memories behind cake cutting and having the memories of how beautiful you're cake is.  I'm definitely gonna remember for beautiful cake for the next year's to come πŸ’œ

Below are some beautiful details that I have captured from my own wedding, as well as weddings that I had the pleasure to take photos at.

A beautiful day, it was such a short but simple ceremony.  The location was perfect, so many beautiful places to take photos.  We decided to head over to the ledgeslative building to capture their love for each other. I couldn't have asked for an easier couple, they were so simple and were so easy to work with and made me laugh and smile. Thank you both and again congratulations you two and the best to you in the future ❤

My Wedding Story πŸ’œ

It was a beautiful July day, the sun was shining, it was a tiny bit windy. But thats what happens when you live in Saskatchewan, espeically in the south east of Saskatchewan.  It was a hard day as It was looming in my mind that my dad wasn't there.. but I had so many things to remeber my dad. We took some pictures with items I had gotten to remember my dad. I loved that we could remember my dad so beautifully.  The ceremony was a hit, we had a flower guy and flower girl and they did amazing πŸ‘, my ring bearer's were my kids and they rocked it. My bridesmaid was amazing and my good friend for 8 years ❤  The ceremony was crazy we had a little mishap with the rings, but hey you need one crazy thing to happen 😜  The sand ceremony was beautiful and it went by so fast. I'm just so glad I was able to ca
